My current hyperfixation. Hard to describe without spoilers but essentially 4 kids play a crazy game and meet some aliens.

Starfish

One of my most favorite books of all time. A novel in-verse following Ellie, who is fat-shamed and bullies by not only her classmates, but also her siblings, and even her own mother. With the help of her new therapist and her next-door neighbor, she prepares to not let herself get stepped on and confront her mother. It's so good, but just a warning, I cry every time I read it.
